I'm surprised that this is the first I've heard of it!

Allow me to offer you my congratulations. I can think of few who would make for a better partner than Mick. I doubt that he has mentioned me, but I am very fond of him indeed, and gladder still that he has met someone who makes him happy.

Do you and him talk a lot? I'm not surprised it hasn't come up, we didn't plan on going public, but between some people's lack of discretion and whatever the network's doing right now, no chance.

There won't ever be a partner better than Mick for me. I'm not sure how happy I make him. I can try.

We speak fairly frequently. We have taken to meditating together, and after all, there is seldom a quiet moment in this place.

I do not believe that Mick would remain with one who did not make him happy. He can be reticent about his own feelings at times. If he has been honest enough with you to share these feelings, I believe it is something to make last.
